Mike Jones, Lead Pastor
Pastor Mike was born in Paris, Kentucky on September 8, 1951 where he graduated from Harrison County High School in 1969. After graduation he served our country in the United States Marine Corps. He was converted at the age of twenty-two, called to preach at twenty-four, and was ordained at the age of twenty-nine. He began his first pastorate at Blanket Creek Baptist Church in Falmouth, Kentucky. His pastorates also include the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, and Unity Baptist Church before coming to Big Bone Baptist on February 14th of 1988. He has preached revivals in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, Missouri, and Idaho, and led fourteen mission trips to India. Pastor Mike and his wife Jeannie have three children: Chris, Casey and Courtney, and one grandson, Garett.
David Denna, Outreach & Family Counseling Pastor
Brother David was born in Redondo Beach California on December 7th, 1968.
He graduated from North Park University in Chicago with a degree in Organizational Management
and from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with an MDiv in
Missions, Evangelism, and Church Growth. He has been in ministry
for twelve years and has led mission trips to Mexico, Canada, Bangalore India and
the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. David and his wife
Linda have one daughter.
Dave Safstrom, Youth Pastor
Dave is the student pastor at Big Bone Baptist Church. Dave and his wife, Lori, both served as team members with Life Action Revival Ministries for three years, and married shortly thereafter on July 7, 2007. Dave is currently pursuing a biblical studies degree through Liberty University.
Les Ellison, Pastor of Administration
Les was born at the Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida, October 24th, 1973. He has served ten years as a volunteer Youth Minsiter, and two years as an Associate Pastor. He has coordiinated and served in many local missions, and served during an international mission trip to Barcelona, Spain. He has also worked as a manufacturing engineer, engineering manager, and program manager within the automotive industry for a total of nine years. Les and his wife Heather have three children: Joel, Katelyn, and Hannah.
Julana Sigmon
Julana has been with Big Bone Baptist Church her whole life. She was raised in our church and has served faithfully for many years. She has served as church secretary, and currently serves as the financial secretary. Julana and her husband Rusty have three children: Cameo, Nick, and Sam.
